Future

Nayvadius DeMun Wilburn (Nayvadius Cash) was born on November, 20, 1983 in Atlanta, Georgia and is an American rapper. He was raised in the infamous Zone 6, a neighbourhood in Atlanta where crime rates are very high. Nayvadius often visited his uncles and aunts who sold a lot of drugs, and likes to talk about it. His mother worked as an 911 operator and wanted to keep Nayvadius on the right track. Things went wrong with the young Nayvadius, he changed his name into Cash, to mislead the police, and at age 14 het was shot in his right hand. His mother then kicked him out of the house and from age 17 to 24 he lived on the streets. After that, he registered at Colombia High School. Get got his stagename when he became a member of the music group ”The Dungeon Family”. They all called him The Future. Inspired by his uncle Rico Wade he started to write for other artists,  rapper Ludacris amongst others, and started to rap himself. A man named Rocko heard his music and contracts Future  with the label A-1 Records. In 2010 and 2011 he released his mixtapes: 1000, Dirty Sprite and True Story.  After that, he cooperated with rapper Gucci Mane and co-writes the track ”Racks” by YC. Future uses a lot of  Auto-tune in his music. He uses it both when he raps and in the chorusses. This resulted in a beef with T-Pain, who also likes to use auto-tune. He thought Future imitated him. Future refers to this as: “when I first used Auto-tune, I never used it to sing. I wasn’t using it the way T-Pain was. I used it to rap because it makes my voice sound grittier. Now everybody wants to rap in Auto-tune. Future’s not everybody.” On Spotify 23.2 million people listen to the rapper, which brings him on position 24 in the world.  His most-streamed track is Low Life with 249.8 million streams.

The tracks I like best are:
